Coverage Area:
The West Sioux Falls transmitter is working better than expected. the usable range depends on the quality of the receiver but generally solid strong daytime, from 12th ST to the north, 32nd St to the south, I-29 to the east and Sertoma to the west although the signal is legible further out.
The USF location is powerful due to soil conditions (our grounding) and covers from Sanford to the North all the way to 41st to the south. On the East (daytime only) we cover to Phillips. Coverage to the West is limited at the moment to an area just before Western.
The 2nd and Prairie location is using a PLL type certified transmitter covering the Cathedral area but coverage will be improved
as we replace with a Rangemaster .
Of cours
e the East Transmitter is working extremely well and our new 41st and Western location is also working well and will continue to be improved.

It is our next desire to get the one near 57th and louise but finding property to mount is difficult. We are preparing a report to convince the land owner of an apartment building near that area to help.

Format:
Populist, Constitutional and Patriot Talk. See our program schedule for a complete list of hosts and networks.

Liberty Radio Signal Coverage

- First you will find our night coverage map. I made these out of haste so the patterns don't reflect the degrees of strength. At night the coverage of 1640 is hampered with stronger signals from Oklahoma City and Milwaukee so we added 1610 on the west and 1710 for the central part of town. The 1710 station will be converting to 1610 due to a new GPS synchronizer so coverage will improve.

Night coverage. Yellow = 1610AM, Orange = 1710AM, Purple = 1640AM

1640 the lower pourple coverage has been removed to do site rental costs. Transmitters will be reloacted to Austin, TX.

Day coverage 1640 becomes dominant with our multi transmitter array of the Hamilton FCC Certified transmitters as allowed per Part 15 rules .

The best thing to do is experiment with your reciever and switch around as you drive. Program 1640, 1710 and 1610AM. We will add additional transmitters for 1610AM so that older radios can enjoy but you can also always listen on www.live365.com and search for our channel at "Liberty 1640"
